A moderate sized tree with spreading crown; bark dark-brown to almost black,fissured. Leaflets 10-20 pairs, linear, glabrous. Flowers yellow, fragrant in axillary,globose heads. Calyx cup-shaped. Corolla twice the length of calyx. Pods solitary, 8-12 seeded, deeply indented between the seeds, densely grey-downy. (India)
