Description
Perennial herb with short rhizomes, rarely with short stolons; stems erect, 20-50cmLong, rather slender, few-leaved; radical leaves broadly linear to oblong-lanceolate,rarely oblong, longpetiolate, the blades 3-10cm Long, 5-30mm Wide, acute toacuminate, rarely rounded and mucronate, entire or remotely mucronate-toothed,rarely shallowly incised; cauline leaves rather short, sessile, auriculate-clasping; headsin loose corymbs, about 15mm across, yellow or rarely white, usually 5-flowered;involucres 7-9mm long, the inney bracts 5-6; achenes 3-3.5mm long, beak less than1mm long; pappus brown, about 4mm long.
