Description
A small evergreen tree with closed drooping branches. Leaves compound, alternate;leaflets glabrous, glaucous beneath, base oblique, acute. Flowers variegated withwhite and purple in short racemes, axillary. Fruits ovoid, 5-angled, indehiscent,yellowish berry. Seeds arillate. (India)
Much-branched, broad, bushy tree, branches usually drooping. Leaves 3-6-jugate.Flowers usually in axillary panicles, heterodistylous; petals coherent, up to 8mm long,light red with purple heart; short stamens rudimentary, lacking anthers. Fruit with 5pronounced ribs, stellate in cross-section, up to 12.5cm x 6cm Seeds with fleshy aril.(Malaysia)
