A shrubby perennial herb to 3m tall with hairy stems. Leaves alternate, elliptic inoutline, to 22cm x 6cm, green above and light green below with serrated margins; leafpetioles with 4-6 separate lobes. Inflorescences branched with many reduced leaves,flowers-heads to 7mm x 3mm; bracts narrow and numerous; florest yellow-coloured;pappus white with some brown-coloured tips. (Indonesia) Shrubby perennial herb, 1.5-2.5m high, with hairy stem. Leaves alternate, ellipticoutline, 22cm long by 6cm wide, green above and light green below. Inflorescences branched with many reduced leaves. Flowers numerous, yellow. Flowering period: March -August. (Laos) A shrub up to 4m tall, stems erect; leaves usually oblong-ovate; capitula in large axillary or terminal panicles, 6-10mm in diameter; marginal flowers up to 6mm long, disk flowers 8-28, achene ribbed, about 1mm long pubescent with pappus. (Philippines) Subshrub 1 - 2m. high. Stems striate-furrowed, much-branched at the top. Leaves alternate, bearing some linear segments at the base; margins toothed. Inflorescence in terminal corymb of many heads; flowers yellow. Achene hairy. All parts of the plant are clothed with a velvety tomentum and smell of camphor. (Vietnam)
