Description
An herbaceous erect annual, glandular pubescent throughout. Leaves simple, alternate,often incised or lyrate, elliptic-oblong or obovate. Flowers yellow, numerous in heads,both terminal and axillary. Corolla lobes glabrous. Fruits sub-tetragonous achenes, notribbed, crowned with white pappus hairs. (India)
A herb up to 2.5m tall, stems erect; leaves elliptical-oblong; capitula in axillary andterminal, dense to lax panicles, 5-6mm in diameter; marginal flowers 3-4mm long,disk flowers 8-30, 3-4.5mm long. (Philippines)
