A large woody climbing shrub with vertically furrowed ash coloured bark. Leaveslarge, simple, alternate, long petioled, broadly ovate, sub-coriaceous, cordate ortruncate at the base, acute or acuminate, 5-nerved. Flowers greenish in long panicles,drooping from the nodes of the old wood. Drupes kidney shaped, turning red onripening. (India)
