Description
Small plant or shrub, 1-2m in height, stem rigid, woody at lower part. Young twigspurplish-violet, pubescent. Leaves alternate, slab densely covered by silver-whitehairs, margins dentate. Inflorescence in axillary panicle, flowers unisexual, greenish.male panicles at the lower part, female at the upper part. Achene with accrescent calyx. Flowering and fruiting period: October to March. (Laos)
Tall plant, lm. or over in height, woody at the base. Young twigs and petioles violet-purple, pubescent. Leaves altemate, denticulate covered with silver-white hairs beneath. Inflorescence in axillary panicle; flowers unisexual, monoecious. Achene with accrescent calyx. (Vietnam)
