Description
Small shrub, about 1.5m high or more, stem stout branches horizontally spreading,strait and minutely pubescent. Leaves paripinnate, bigsized, alternate 30-40cm long,leaflets 8-12 pair, rectangular or oval 5-13cm long, 2.5-7cm wide, increasing in sizefrom the base, broadly rounded oblique at the base, glabrouson both sides, petioleslightly winged, stipule erect, acute, persistent, twigs and petioles usually reddish-brown. Inflorescence in axillary and terminal erect spike 20-30cm long, 3-4cm widepeducle stout, bracts caduceus, flower yellow, sepals 5 unequal, glabrous petals 5oblong. Pod long, slightly compressed with winged margins 8-16cm, seed numerous,rhombiform, black. (Indonesia)
