Description
Rhizomes shout and thick; stems 1-1.5m. Long, stout, glabrous, branched in upperpart, the branches puberulent; radical leaves usually withering before anthesis, cordate,long-petiolate, the lower cauline leaves chartaceous, cordate, long-petiolate, 9 -24cmlong, 6-18cm wide; short-acuminate, cordate, singly or doubly toothed, deep greenabove, rather prominently scabrous on both sides, the median ones narrowly winged-petiolate, gradually becoming smaller, ovate-deltoid, acute, cordate to truncate atbase; heads in loose corymbs, 18-24mm across, pedunculate; involucral bracts 3-seriate, oblong, 1.5-5mm long, rounded at apex, scarious on margin; ligulate corollas11-15mm long, white, about 3mm wide.
