Medium tree (Laos)
A medium-sized tree up to 24m tall, bole up to 60cm in diameter, bark surface smooth,lenticellate, inner bark pinkish, leaves opposite or subopposite,base cuneate rarelyrounded, apex blunt to acute, often glabocous below, 3-veined, petiole 1-2cm long;inflorescence an axillary or terminal panicle, up to 18cm long, flowers sometimespartly unisexual; fruit oblong to narrowly ovoid, 1.5cm x 1cm, seated on a perianthcup with resistant.
