Description
A moderate-sized bushy, evergreen, glabrous tree. Leaves slender; petiole short,naked or winged; leaflet elliptic or ovate, acute or obtuse. Flowers white, bisexual.Fruits subglobose, flattened on the top; rind loose, thin, easily separable; brightorange or scarlet orange in colour when ripe; pulp juicy, sweet or subacid. (India)
Medium-sized plant, 5-8m high, naked or with short spines. Leaves alternate withrounded or acute coriaceous apex, entire, glabrous; petiole obscurely winged. Flowerswhite in axillary raceme. Berry globose or subglobose, deep - orange when fully ripe;pulp juicy, sweet. Other species and varieties are also uesd medicinally (Vietnam)
