Description
An erect herb with triangular, rounded angular culms. Leaves radical, sheathing,shorter than the culms. Roots-tuberous, sweet smelling, rounded, black and hard like aknot; often crowded together. Tubers are black externally, white internally and smelllike Acorus. Umbels are terminal, compound and 3-leaves. (India)
