Description
A medium-sized deciduous tree with smooth bark. Leaves opposite, broadly ovate,base cordate, apex acuminate, margins entire, young one tomentose beneath. Flowersyellow tinged with brown, in small cymes of about 3 flowers. Corolla brownish-yellow, densely fulvous-hairy outside, 5-lobed, 2-lipped. Fruits fleshy, ovoid orpyriform, turning orange-yellow when mature, 1-or 2-seeded. (India)
