Description
An evergreen climber with rambling stem and consipicuous lenticels and smallhooked prickles. Leaves alternate, digitately trifoliate; leaflets sessile, obovate-oblong,margins crenulated, apex obtuse, base acute, glabrous, coriaceous, prickly beneath.Flowers polygamous, pale greenish-yellow, in axillary and terminal panicles, fruitssubglobose, fleshy, with 3-5 shallow groves, yellow to orange when ripe. Seeds many,reniform, embedded in colourless mucilage and fleshy endosperm. (India)
