Description
A biennial herb. Leaves during first year, rosette of radical, rugose, somewhat downy,ovate to ovate-lanceolate with long, winged petioles. In the second year, a single,erect flowering axis with sessile and subsessile leaves arises from the middle of theleaf rosette. The axis is terminating with one-sided, declined flowers. Corolla tubularcampanulate, purple, yellow or white. Seeds small, light and numerous. (India)
