An annual, much branched, diffusely spreading herb with watery latex. Leaves finelydivided, each segment liner-lanceolate, flat, pointed at the tip. Flowers small, rose orpurple in colour, in racemes of 15-20 flowers. Sepals lanceolate, much smaller thanthe corolla tube. Ovary one celled, style filiform. Fruits globose, 1-seeded, pin headsized. Seeds dark brown. (India)
