A shrub of 1.5m high. Leaves variable, 1-5-foliolate; leaflets subopposite or alternate,polymorphous, usually elliptic-lanceolate or elliptic-oblong. Flowers small, white,borne in axillary or terminal panicles. Fruits small, fleshy or dry berries, pinkish-white, 1-3 seeded. Seeds oblong. (India)
