A small or a middle sized tree with smooth and brown bark. Leaves simple, alternate,glossy, ovate-lanceolate, doubly-serrate, glands on the petiole. Flowers in fascicles orumbels and rose-red to white in colour. Fruits ovoid or globose drupes, yellow or redon ripening, rugose and furrowed. Seeds rounded and furrowed. (India)
