Description
A scented thinly-pubescent perennial herb, 40-100cm High; stems 4-angled, green,branched; leaves membranous, ovate to broadly so, 8-15cm Long, 4-8cm Wide, green,branched; leaves membranous, ovate to broadly so, 8-15cm Long, 4-8cm Wide, green,obtusely toothed, shortacuminate, shallowly cordate to rounded at base, long-petio-late; panicles long-pedunculate, loosely few-flowered, the pedu-ncles and pedicelsoften scattered glandular-pilose; calyx obconnical, 2-3mm long in anthesis, 5-6mmlong in fruit, the teeth deltoid;corolla blue-purple, the tube 8-10mm long, the teethdeltoid; corolla blue-purple, the tube 8-10mm long, the limb oblique, the largest lobereflexed, slightly longer than the tube; stamens 3-3.5cm long; style 3-3.5cm long;nutlets obovoid, 4-4.5mm long, net-veined, glandular-dotted. -Aug. -Sept.
