Description
Rhizomes creeping, branched; stolons subterranean; radical leaves few, cordate-orbicular, 2-7cm In diameter, shallowly 5-lobed, obtusely toothed, long-hairy andflandular-puberulent, the stipules membranous brown, the petioles 2-10cm Long;scapes 10-40cm long, glandular-puberulent, with 2 or 3 short-petioled cauline leaves;racemes often with a short branch near base, the pedicels spreading, 3-7mm long;flowers rather numerous, white, nodding; calyx-lobes 1-2mm long, narrowly ovate;petals subulate-linear, slightly longer than the calyx-lobes; stamens exserted; capsule-valves very unequal, 7-12mm long. -June-Aug. (Korea)
Small annual plant, with soft pubescence; 40 - 60cm high; stem quadrangular. Leavesopposite, margins serrate; nerves apparently impressed on the lower side.Inflorescence in terminal, unilateral spike; flowers pale-violet or purplish. Acheneoblong, glabrous. All parts of the plant are scented (Vietnam)
