Stems erect, 80-150cm High, 4-angled, glabrous, nearly simple; leaves narrowlydeltoid or deltoid-oblong, 5-10cm Long, 2.5-5cm Wide, acuminate, truncate tobroadly cuneate at base, the petioles wingless or very slightly winged; dymes few-flowered, forming a spikelike rather dense panicle, 1-2cm long inclusive of thepeduncle, minutely glandular-pilose, the bracts small; calyxlobes broadly ovate,subacute or subobruse; corolla yellowgreen, 6-7mm long; capsules ovoid, about 5mmlong, about 3mm across; seeds rather small. -July -Aug. Leavesalternate. long-petioled, with 3 nerves from the base; margins sharply denticulate.Inflorescence in axillary or terminal cyme; flowers pale-green.
