Description
Ternately branched shrub with rather thick yellow-brown branches appessed-pubescent shile young; leaves membranous, lanceolate to broadly so, 8-15cm Long, 2-4cm Wide, acute to acuminate, acuminate at base, appressed-pubescent especially onunderside, whitish beneath, the petioles 5-8mm long, appressed-pubescent;inflorescence densely white-villous, manu-flowered, globose, capitate, onnodding peduncles, subtended by few narrowly ovate caducous bracts while younf;calyx-lobes elliptic, yellow inside, about 5mm long, the tube sessile, 12-14mm long;anthers of the upper stamens slightly exserted from the throat. -Mar. -Apr.
