A handsome, glabrous, perennial, aromatic herb with fragrant under ground parts.Leaves two or more, spreading on ground, round-ovate, thin, deep green, channelled.Flowers white with purplish spots in axillary fascicles; corolla tubular, connective ofanther produced into a quadrate 2-lobed appendage. Fruits oblong, 3-celled and 3-valved. Seeds arillate.
