A narrow bulbous herb with few narrow, subequal, fleshy scales. Leaves in whorls,many nerved, narrowly lanceolate or linear, margins papillose. Flowers 4-10,pendulous, fragrant, dull yellowish or greenish outside; white within, speckled withlong purple streaks, in racemes, raised on the naked top of the stem. Perianth recurvedwhen fully expanded. (India)
