Long, very stout,glabrous, puberulent on upper part; radical and lower cauline leaves petiolate, large,twice or thrice termately pinnate, the terminal leaflets decurrent at base, deeply 3-clefto -parted, the ultimate segments rather thick, narrowly lanceolate-oblong, 5-10cmlong, 2-5cm wide, acuminate, coarsely serrate, deep green and often scaberulous onmargins and on the nerves on upper side, whitish and puberulent especially on thenerves beneath, sheaths of the much-reduced upper leaves ovate or oblong, inflated;umbels few, the peduncles, rays, and pedicels rather densely papillate-puberulent, therays 20-40, 4-6cm long, the unvolucel bractlets few, broadly lanceolate, caudatelyacuminate, as long as the pedicels, the pedicels, the pedicels 4-10mm long; fruitelliptic, glabrous, flat, slightly emarginate at base, 8-9mm long, the dorsal ribs slender,filiform, the lateral ribs winged, 2-4 in the commissure.
