Description
A glabrous, much-branched deciduous shrub with 4-gonous lateral branches oftenending in spines. Leaves simple, opposite, entire, lanceolate. Flowers white, or rose-coloured, fragrant, in large terminal pyramidal panicled cymes. Capsules globose,tipped with the style and supported by the persistent calyx. Seeds numerous, smooth,pyramidal.
