Large, fleshy, glabrous, foetid perennial/ leaves tufted, long-petiolate, the bladeorbicular, acute, deeply coudate at base, 30-40cm Long and as wide; flowering beforethe leaves, the peduncle short; spathe 8-20cm Long, 5-12cm Wide, purplish to green,navicular-hemisphericl gradually acuminate; spadix ellipsoidal, about 2cm long,densely flowered; fruit ripening in summer of the same year.
