Description
A branched herbaceous climber with annual slender stems from perennial tuberousrhizomes. Leaves alternate, opposite or whorled, ovate-lanceolate, apex acuminateand spirally twisted to serve as a tendril. Flowers showy, large, solitary or in clusters;perianth segments greenish changing to bright golden yellow and scarlet with wavymargins. Capsules linear-oblong, greenish-yellow, with many globose seeds. (India)
