A terrestrial orchid with a single lotus-like leaf raised above the ground level and withsubglobose, white, fleshy tubers. Leaves simple, orbicular or subreniform, basecordate, 13 or more ribbed, wavy margin, dentate. Sepals and petals pale green veinedwith purple, lip white, 3-lobed above the middle, veined with purple, tinged withyellow near the base. mid lobe ovate, acute, crisped, hairy. (India)
