Description
A prickly creeper or climbing herb with perennial rootstock and 4-angled stems.Leaves are very variable, cordate-ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 2-8 in a whorl. Flowerssmall, white or greenish or in shades or red and yellow, sweet scented in terminalpanicles or cymes. Fruits globose, or slightly 2-lobed, dark purplish or black andfleshy with 2 small seeds. (India)
