Description
30-90cm tall, armed or unarmed, grey-stellate-tomentose shrubs or undershrubs.Leaves ovate or ovate-oblong, pinnatifid, stellate-pubescent. Flowers violet, in short,extra-axillary racemes. Berries of different sizes and shapes, bright to deep purple,seldom greenish-white. Seeds nearly spherical, flat, pale-yellow or brown glabrous.(India)
