Description
A tall deciduous tree with greyish brown bark that exfoliates in large scales. Leavesparipinnate, clustered at the ends of the twigs; petioles swollen at base; leafletsopposite, coriaceous, ovate to lanceolate, emarginated, margins entire. Flowersgreenish-white in large terminal panicles composed of 1-3 flowered pedunculatecymes. The fruits are glabrous, balck, woody, pear-shaped. Seeds winged, in two rowsin each locule. (India)
