Description
It is an erect, annual herb with robust, branching, cylindrical or 4-angled stem. Leavesbroadly lanceolate, 5-nerved, sub-sessile and the flowers are lurid greenish, yellow,tinged with purple and in large panicles. Sepals and p4eatals are 4 and petals with 2rounded glands at the base. Capsules egg shaped, many sided and sharp pinted. Seedssmooth and many angled. (India)
Annual or biennial herb, up to 90cm high, with ovate or elliptic leaves, and greenish-yellow flowers in small clusters on branched panicles. (Nepal)
