Description
Medium-sized tree, 5 - 6m. high. Branches fleshy, brittle. Leaves alternate, usuallycrowded in thick terminal cluster, entire and attenuate at both ends. Inflorescence interminal cyme; flowers white with a yellow centre, or reddish-pink, fragrant. Folliclesdivaricate, with numerous winged seeds. All parts of the plant yield a milky latex(Vietnam)

Purgative, stimulant, emmenagogue, febrifuge, gonorrhea, veneral diseases, sores,purgative, rheumatism, itch, gum disorders, procure, abortifacient (Bangladesh)
