Slightly glaucescent glabrous perennial herb; stems few or solitary, erect, 10-25cmLong, sometimes branched, obtusely angled to terete; leaves rather thick, linear, 2-4cm Long, 1-3mm Wide, acrte, entire; flowers small, green, solitary on short pedicels,the bract solitary, rather small, similar to the leaves, the bracteoles 2, linear, 2-6mmlong, the perianth 2.5-3mm long, tubular; fruit ellipsoidal-globose, 2-2.3mm long,green, with raised reticulations, crowned with the persistent perianth-lobes.
