Description
A medium sized evergreen, semiparasite, glabrous tree with drooping branches anddark grey or brownish black bark. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic-lanceolate,glabrous, entire. Flowers brownish purple, reddish purple or violet in terminal andaxillary paniculate cymes. Fruits globose, purple black with ribbed endocarp. Seedshard, globose or obovoid. (India)
