Description
A shrub often with slender cord-like branches. Leaves opposite, densely tomentose,elliptic, caudate-acuminate. Flowers in many-flowered cymes, yellowish with orangecoronal scales. Corolla-lobes linear or obovate-oblong. Stamens at the top of the tube,conniving around and adhering in the stigma. Fruits linear, erect follicles, connate intoa cylinder, with a deep groove on each side till maturity, rough with tubercles. (India)
